LGBTQ+ Center
The LGBTQ Center offers inclusive programming and outreach initiatives for ÃØÉ«´«Ã½ students, faculty, staff and community members. We collaborate with and support the University’s larger social justice efforts by providing inclusive, academic and curricular development training on all ÃØÉ«´«Ã½ campuses, by advocating for members of our community and by building coalitions. We also work throughout the state to improve understanding of LGBTQIA+ issues.
Gender Affirming Restrooms
Gender-inclusive restrooms are bathrooms anyone can use, regardless of gender identity or expression. Gender-inclusive restrooms on campus are also ADA accessible and most have a changing table.

SLS is committed to protecting the legal rights and interests of the student body by providing high quality legal and mediation services at no cost to both undergraduate and graduate students, individually and collectively, as well as to student government and student organizations.
True Colors Living-Learning Community
The True Colors Living-Learning Community was created to provide students an opportunity to live in an environment where they can live in the same room with any student regardless of sex, gender, gender identity/expression or sexual orientation. It is designed to be a safe, inclusive, comfortable and supportive community for people of all gender identities and expressions. This community supports students who identify as transgender or gender non-conforming in choosing (or being placed with) a roommate of any gender. The intention of this community is not for cohabitation of romantic partners. It is recommended that students in romantic relationships do not live together in a residence hall.
ÃØÉ«´«Ã½ LGBTQ+ Commission
The LGBTQ+ Commission monitors institutional policies and procedures to ensure that they are fully and actually implemented in accord with ÃØÉ«´«Ã½â€™s codified Board of Governors (BOG) Governance Rule 1.6 with respect to sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. Wherever necessary, the LGBTQ+ Commission will propose, elevate and promulgate new policies aimed at promoting LGBTQ+ inclusion to ÃØÉ«´«Ã½â€™s leadership.
